This two year scholarship is available to outstanding students transferring from Maryland community colleges. To be eligible students must have completed 56 or more credits or have an Associates of Arts degree and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better. The award covers in-state tuition for two years of undergraduate study.
Students can apply through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by completing the TAES application as a part of their transfer application to the university. The TAES application is available in late December. The deadline receipt of application, official transcripts and scholarship materials must be submitted by March 1st . Students who are selected for an interview will be notified towards the end of April and final decisions will be released in mid-May.
