The 2017-2018 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available for the upcoming academic year.
If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please make sure to file the 2017-2018 FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You will need to use your 2015 tax information to complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA application. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine your eligibility for grants, loans and Federal Work-Study. Our University School code is 002103.
Did you know there's a faster way to file the FAFSA? It's called the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool allows students and parents to access the IRS tax return information needed to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and transfer the data directly into their FAFSA from the IRS Web site.
The IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT), which allows students and parents to transfer tax information directly to the FAFSA, has been unavailable and will continue to be down until the start of the next FAFSA season according to U.S Department of Education. You can obtain an IRS Tax Return Transcript with one of the following options: (Make sure to request the “IRS Tax Return Transcript” and NOT the “IRS Tax Account Transcript.”)
